Our Mission Statement

The core mission of Pound Pals of Radford, Inc. is the prevention of suffering, neglect, abuse and cruelty to animals by working in conjunction with our local animal shelter in all phases of animal placement and rescue.

Pound Pals of Radford, Inc. is a private, non-profit 501 (c)(3) tax-exempt organization. Contributions are tax-deductible.

Foster Homes & Sponsors Needed

Pound Pals is looking for people to open their hearts & homes to temporarily care fora homeless cat or dog until Pound Pals can find them forever homes.Without this help, many of our animals die lonely & abandoned before families can be located. The cats & dogs can only remain at the Radford shelter for 14 days. Two weeks is frequently not enough time to find good homes.All you have to do is provide love & food to give a shelter animal another chance at life in a permanent home.You can also help by sponsoring a shelter animal. Your donation will help pay for spay/neuters, boarding & medical needs. Please look at our adoptables page & pick a special friend to sponsor.
